COATD 2nd Annual Emerging Professionals Showcase
You are invited to COATD's second annual Emerging Professionals Showcase. This event features presenters who identify as emerging professionals. This is defined by:
a) a student in a learning and development related program and/or
b) 5 or less years of experience in Learning and Development.
Our agenda highlights our emcee, speaker, and coaches! A special thank you to Sami Chan for her work on the agenda!
This event will highlight emerging professionals who are going to speak on a range of topics. Their presentations will be 15 minutes or less and a panel of coaches will provide them feedback on their presentations.
Zoom link will be provided in the registration email. Look forward to seeing you there!
Participants will gain digital credentials for full completion (both days) of this workshop.
Traditional corporate e-learning is boring, deadly dull, mind-numbing even. It can be a struggle to create something that makes a difference. The challenge is easier to overcome when we approach e-learning on its own terms, not just as a stand-in for classroom teaching.
The Central Ohio Chapter ATD will be joining forces with Dr. Michael Allen (founder of the Successive Approximation Model) and Ethan Edwards (Allen Academy & Allen Interactions) to present a 4 hour (2-hours per day).
Join this lively workshop to learn how to transform e-learning into irresistible instruction that motivates the learner and creates meaningful and memorable learning experiences. This foundational short course for the Allen Certified Instructional Profession program will fundamentally change the way you think about the possibility of e-learning success.
Join COATD for a fun virtual networking event! 2020 is charged with being the worst year ever for the talent development profession. The judge (Dawn Snyder) will hear arguments from prosecuting attorney (Richard Pfister) and defense attorney (Dana Vogelmeier). Then YOU join in a small group discussion about your own thoughts and experiences.
Everyone will share experiences and vote—Is 2020 guilty? Or innocent?
Bring your own beverage and prepare to meet new friends.
