    LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

    ABOUT THE SESSION

    From Expert to Influential Leader
    with Sherrice Sledge-Thomas

Many leaders rise because of their expertise, but what got you here won’t get you to the next level.

Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking session with
Sherrice Thomas, Founder of Sledge View Consulting and transformational executive, as she explores one of the most critical leadership shifts: moving from being the expert in the room

to leading through influence. As leadership responsibility grows, success is no longer about having all the answers, it’s about developing others, building trust, and expanding leadership capacity across your team.

In this session, you will explore how to:

    • Shift from directing and problem-solving to influencing
      and empowering others
    • Build trust and credibility that enables others to lead
    • Navigate the uncertainty and anxiety that comes
with letting go of being “the expert”
    • Develop leaders who can think, decide, and perform independently

Grounded in Sherrice’s leadership development framework,
this session will challenge you to rethink your role as a leader
and equip you with practical strategies to lead with greater impact.

Whether you’re an experienced leader or stepping into broader leadership responsibility, this session will help you expand your influence, elevate your impact, and grow the leaders around you.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTER

    SHERRICE SLEDGE-THOMAS

Sherrice Sledge-Thomas is a people strategist
and transformational executive known for aligning leadership, culture, and organizational strategy to drive meaningful results.

With experience across corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors, she advises leaders navigating complex change, workforce transformation, and strategic growth.

Sherrice integrates systems thinking, human capital strategy, and change leadership to help organizations strengthen leadership effectiveness, operational performance, and sustainable impact.
