Come join us for the next Bi-Monthly Leadership Development SIG led by Carey Anne Curran

This month we have another special program:

Silver bullets…to develop leaders at nearly any company!

Silver bullets…to cure engagement, retention and developing leaders at nearly any company. We’re all looking for them! And it’s our job, as leadership development professionals, to find them – and immediately get them on target! Is there anyone missing from the process, the conversation? Maybe. The CEO? Let’s talk about it. Our discussion will be led by COATD member Alex Lefeld.

    About our presenter:

Alex Lefeld is Engagement Manager and Senior Facilitator at Improv Edge. For 15 years, Alex has been using improv as an education tool for both the workplace and the stage. He got his start at The Ohio State University where he founded Fishbowl Improv, a group that he still mentors. After graduating with his BA in Theatre, Alex worked in the hospitality industry where he found his passion for training and has also designed and developed content as an Instructional Designer.

    About the Leadership Development SIG:
Leadership and management are two very different things. No successful organization would be where it is today without effective leadership; it’s almost always one of the main and primary drivers for growth, development, and innovation. Join us to discuss topics such as current leadership trends, how we are training the leaders of today and tomorrow, how good leaders motivate their employees, and the importance of emotional intelligence.

Tip: Consider blocking your calendar throughout the year by registering for all 5 meetings now. This way you are more likely to attend.

Mary coaches leaders on how to get maximum engagement from their employees and the highest level of performance and productivity from their teams.

She is a business coach, and her focus is on the development of high performance teams. In business, like any other area, teams don’t just spontaneously come together. The level of engagement and performance you get from your team depends on the quality of leadership in the organization and the degree to which top leaders and managers throughout the organization are committed to training, coaching, and mentoring talent in the workforce … and promoting teamwork as a way of life.
