In times of uncertainty, chaos, and an ever-changing workplace, one thing remains constant: People need People. People are any organization’s greatest asset and if we want them to thrive, they need to feel safe to speak up and truly feel heard. A team or company that lacks psychological safety creates a culture of silence. Creating a learning culture and a team that truly collaborates starts with trust, connection, and the willingness to be professionally vulnerable. With a psychologically safe mindset, company cultures and teams can discard perfection as the norm and instead learn to focus on quickly creating solutions, gathering feedback, and iterating for better future designs. By taking up this simple mindset as a whole team, you will find that everyone will learn and grow in new ways and be more innovative, creative, productive, and engaged! In this webinar, you will learn:

    • How to define psychological safety.

    • How to recognize if your company or team lacks psychological safety.

    • How Emotional Intelligence and Psychological Safety are the building blocks for a high performing team.

    • To recognize and explain The Zones of Psychological Safety.

    • To define professional vulnerability and apply it to team collaboration.

    • To create an action plan for yourself and provide tactics to help create and foster an environment that allows our teams to dream, to wonder, and to question.

We are happy to announce our COATD Learning Technology and Design Day conference is returning!  We are returning to the Quest Conference Center.  They have a new facility with more parking, more ventilation to clean air and remove pathogens, and more accessibility.  The new facility is right behind the old facility.

2020 has been unlike any previous year.  We’ve witnessed entire school districts from kindergarten to post-doctoral programs move from face-to-face to online learning with no lead time or preparation. Companies that never had a single employee working remotely suddenly have their entire workforce in home offices.

Central Ohio ATD’s Learning Technologies and Design Day builds on what we’ve learned over the past year and provides real, cutting edge solutions aligned with adult learning styles.  You will learn how to utilize new strategies, increase engagement, make learning more accessible and improve performance by leveraging the power of learning technologies.

This year’s conference features a keynote with Kassy LaBorie.  Kassy’s keynote is titled “Virtual Training is Here to Stay. Now What?
