The Brain & Bias

Join us for the May D&I SIG to learn from Brad Withers, speaker and author. He will share the how and why of bias. He will look at the three brains to help us better understand why we have and hold biases and how to get better at moving beyond our biases to foster better relationships.

Here is a little information about our featured speaker:

Since 2001 Brad has presented for almost 2500 seminar days, over 50 topics in 10 countries, 46 states and 6 provinces. Brad uses a hybrid of training and facilitation. This creates a dialogue that engages learners. He has an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University. Brad double majored in Business and Philosophy as an undergrad at Wittenberg University.

Training Topics that he excels in include: Leadership, Teambuilding, Management/Coaching, Systems Thinking, Emotionally Intelligent Communications, Sales, Effective Time and Action Management, Customer Service and Dealing with Negative/Stressful People.

We provide a forum for COATD members to gain knowledge, learn about best practices, and share resources with one another. In addition, this forum will champion the efforts around diversity, equity, and inclusion for talent development professionals to embrace our multicultural workforce.
