This year our winter networking event will be at the Smokehouse Brewing Company!

This is a great opportunity to make those connections with other Learning and Development professionals in Central Ohio. You'll get a chance to make new friends or get reacquainted with old ones over drinks and appetizers.

Stop by after work and spend an hour or two mixing and mingling!

As part of our together time, Don DeHoff will give a short presentation on making a holiday toast. Don is a motivational speaker, presenter and voice-over artist who has delivered talks to small audiences, as well as large, international ones.  He is active at the local and regional level with Toastmasters, an organization which develops speakers and leaders and has spoken on behalf of American Electric Power, Habitat for Humanity and the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.  Don enjoys mentoring and helping others reach their full potential.  Recently he had the opportunity to compete against top speakers from around the world at the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking event in Las Vegas.  His experiences have given him insight into how audiences react to your speech, and how to quickly put together your thoughts into a message that sounds clear and focused.  The holidays present many opportunities to say a few words at a special event.  Don will give you tips and insights to be ready for that moment, and give a toast that people will remember.
