Do More with Less, Again?!
A Sociological Discussion of Workplace Culture

Megan will share how the current workforce culture leads to overwhelm and stress, and she will lead discussion on what development professionals could do to truly effect change, not only in our organizations but in society as a whole.

GUEST PRESENTER

Megan Hysell has over 20 years of experience in healthcare as a human resources professional and behavioral health executive. While she loved leading people, Megan sorely missed the creativity and connection of her education roots. She made a mid-career shift and now facilitates trainings & team discussions with leading healthcare professionals at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, one of Forbes 2025 best large employers.

Megan’s masters degree in sociology, unique blend of strategic knowledge and creativity coupled with her innate ability to connect with others has poised her to develop programming that meets the heartbeat of need for individual contributors throughout the healthcare system as well guiding leaders in how to help them grow. She co-founded and leads the Career Circles program at Nationwide Children’s, inspiring others to own their career journey.

next Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion SIG will be in 2026
