Come join us for the Bi-Monthly Leadership Development SIG lead by Carey Anne Curran.

This month we will kick off the year with a special program called:

Defining Leadership in 2023

As an interactive event, we will ask you to review these top 32 qualities of a good leader: Accountability, Charisma, Communication, Confidence, Creativity, Decision Making, Determination, Drive, Duty, Emotion, Empathy, Energy, Experience, Flexibility, Honor, Honesty, Humility, Initiative, Innovative, Intelligence, Integrity, Knowledge, Loyalty, Motivation, Passion Pride, Respect, Self-Confident, Selflessness, Strategic, Tenacity and Vision.

Then during our meeting we will discuss and compare these “buzzwords” and the useful ones (as we work within our current companies or consult.) Finally, we will take a poll see what are the top 10 characteristics are! In addition, we will cover the top 5 Leadership Skills. Come learn and network with us!

Carey Anne Curran works in Learning & Development for American Honda Motor Co. in Marysville. There she uses her experience in learning administration, engagement, orientation, coaching current and rising leaders in leadership development, facilitating human interactions and communication skill development to build Honda’s teams. She enjoys achieving clear goals and providing a learning space for people to understand their own goals too.

About the Leadership Development SIG:
Leadership and management are two very different things. No successful organization would be where it is today without effective leadership; it’s almost always one of the main and primary drivers for growth, development, and innovation. Join us to discuss topics such as current leadership trends, how we are training the leaders of today and tomorrow, how good leaders motivate their employees, and the importance of emotional intelligence.

Tip: Consider blocking your calendar throughout the year by registering for all 5 meetings now. This way you are more likely to attend.

See our Event calendar to register. Please contact Todd Remer at with any questions.
