This month we are excited to announce another special program:

Let’s Get it Right: Best Practices for Pronouns in the Workplace

Want to understand how, where and when to use personal pronouns - in terms of our LGBTQ and Accessibility community? Curious what to do when you or someone else makes a mistake with personal pronouns?

We interact with different people with different experiences. It is our role as L & D and Talent Development professionals to set an example for our employees on DE&I subjects in the workspace. How we show up, interact and interpret microaggressions will all have an impact on the safety and comfort of learners and coworkers. Join, LGBTQIA+ advocate, Mathew Stuckey help you think about the LGBTQIA+ community and how we can support a more inclusive learning environment. Expect to learn a lot and ask questions!

Please watch this 3 min. video on Gender Identity and Pronouns before attending.

About the Diversity and Inclusion SIG:

We provide a forum for COATD members to gain knowledge, learn about best practices, and share resources with one another. In addition, this forum will champion the efforts around diversity, equity, and inclusion for talent development professionals to embrace our multicultural workforce.
