Registration

Like many companies you may have employees that are new to their role as a trainer or facilitator. This training event is designed for new trainers and facilitators to present training content. 

Facilitators for this event will be Michele Williams and Katie Adamski from Alliance Data.

Strategy

  • Apply the principles of adult learning
  • Understand basic learning strategies
  • Explore presentation and application methods and identify when to use these methods

Building Effective Relationships

  • Develop an effective relationship with learners
  • Build attention and interest
  • Prevent problems from arising
  • Handle difficult participants and situations
  • De-Code and utilize non-verbal techniques
  • Analyze group dynamics

Presentation Techniques

  • Ask and answer questions
  • Manage time effectively
  • Guide discussions
  • Implement effective presentation strategies through voice and movement

Creativity:  Setting the Stage

  • Create high levels of engagement
  • Build interactivity into presentation, application and feedback
  • Create a safe learning environment

If it is Fun, they will Come

  • Understanding Energizers, Icebreakers and Games and when to use
  • Lead energizers, icebreakers and games
  • Set-up effective role-plays and case studies
  • Explore effective motivational techniques 
  • Share new ideas
Come prepared to give a 3 minute presentation (with or without a slide deck) on any topic.
Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snack will be provided.
