Title of the discussion

Employee Resource Groups as Vehicles for Culture Change and Business Success

Description

This presentation will introduce participants to the concepts of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and how they can drive a culture of inclusive excellence within an organization while also supporting key business objectives. Incorporating the perspectives of a variety of ERG leaders and utilizing Robert Rodriguez’s 4C ERG model, the presenter will outline the process of ideating, establishing, and sustaining a new ERG. Conversation will also consider the importance of generating organizational buy-in, securing support from executive leaders, and connecting ERG engagement to broader individual and professional development planning. This presentation has applicability for those whose organizations do not currently have ERGs as well as those who wish to expand the impact of their groups.
