Profile of a Client Care Specialist
You are ready to make an impact in your job – with individuals and their workplaces. You enjoy helping people solve problems and are sensitive to confidentiality and urgency of response. As a Client Care Specialist, you value being involved in a variety of tasks and projects, and are adept in working with a range of temperaments in different settings – from construction sites to board rooms. While you may need to close your office door from time-to-time, you are energized by collaborating with your colleagues. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
• Client Care
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients regarding day-to-day DFWP issues and operations
o Connect clients to Consortium services (e.g., drug testing, Employee Assistance Programs)
• Marketing and Sales
o Contribute to company marketing plan and strategy
o Execute client retention activities including call campaigns and mailings
o Participate in activities to generate new business (e.g., contact web leads, make follow-up calls after speaking engagements)
• Training and Public Speaking
o Deliver on-site, classroom and computer-based trainings to client companies
o Deliver presentations to various business, trade and community groups
• Vendor and Partner Relationships
o Communicate and foster relationships with vendors who service the Consortium support relationship with business partners
• Professional Writing
o Create copy for business publications and social media outlets
o Research and assimilate information for clients and partners
o Edit materials written by team members
Education & Demonstrated Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in related field such as
o Customer Service
o Alcohol/Drug Prevention
• Classroom and computer-based training
• Professional writing and proofreading
• Basic computer operations and programs (i.e., Microsoft Office)

In addition, candidate must be
• Able to drive, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Insurable under Company’s insurance policy. (Non-insurability by Company’s insurance company will require candidate to acquire personal vehicle insurance with coverages equal to Company’s policy.)
• Able to accommodate out-of-town and some overnight travel
• Able to navigate stairs and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Adept at working alone and unsupervised, but also with others in a loosely structured environment
