Central Ohio ATD was just recognized by ATD for meeting the Chapter Affiliation Requirements (CARE) for 2014! This means we met the 18 required CARE elements and is recognized for 100% achievement of CARE in 2014. We were also recognized because almost 50% of our local chapter members are also national members!

We are looking forward to another successful year in 2015 and hope to see you soon!

To bring our fees more inline with costs, we've eliminated the $25 set up fee for new members.

No time like the present to join COATD!

We've added two new fields to the member profile - a Twitter handle and a Competencies multiple selection field. The Compentencies listed are from the ATD Competency Model ( and will help us in determining programming. Please take a few minutes to access your member profile and update these fields.

In addition to the rebranding from ASTD to ATD, we've set up the Events, Announcements, and Job Postings as RSS feeds. If your are not familiar with RSS Feeds here's a quick introduction - If you use MS Outlook, here's how to use Outlook as your RSS reader - Whenever something new is added to Events, Announcements, or the Job Postings on the website, you'll be notified in your RSS inbox. (Note that each is a separate subscription.)

Thanks to everyone who made it downtown to Franklin for our yearly Chapter Meeting. We had a quick recap of 2014 and saw a glimpse of 2015.

Successes in 2014 include our Workforce Learning Conference, Learn Camp, 68% of our expiring members renewed, and we met all our CORE requirements.

    We're looking forward to 2015!

Here's a copy of the presentation from the meeting...
