Why did COATD receive this distinction? From National: "Your chapter achieved CARE for 2018! Secondly, you submitted a Sharing Our Success (SOS) best practice for your “Employee Learning Week Proclamation and Initiative. The Chapter Recognition Committee was impressed with this submission, and believes it is definitely a best practice. Nice work!”

Congrats to all members of Central Ohio Association for Talent and Development (ATD) for winning, not one, not two, but three Sharing our Success awards this week! Here is the message from ATD National which focuses on one of the three initiatives:

Thank you for the Central Ohio Chapter’s submission to the SOS (Sharing Our Success) Program. On behalf of the Chapter Recognition Committee, I want to congratulate you and your chapter on your achievement, “Overhauling the VP Finance Role for Financial Literacy,” which has been approved for recognition. Your effort demonstrates a replicable format for other chapters around the country to adopt and improve their chapter’s business.

Your chapter’s achievement will be recognized in the following ways:

    1. A description of your chapter’s project will be featured on the SOS webpage
    2. An article will be included in the Leader Connection Newsletter (LCN)
    3. You'll receive recognition at the 2019 ATD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC)
    4. Your chapter is now eligible to be selected as a future Chapter of the Month.

Your chapter’s willingness to share best practices can immediately help other chapters to improve their management and services. In addition, your work will help us to create an interactive knowledge base to benefit current and future chapter leaders.
